My first job after CDL school was with USA Truck. My trainer actually TOLD ME to make an illegal U-turn more than once while I was in training! But I am not saying that to bash the company- just the trainer. I found I was not happy working there and after two years I left for a company I was more comfortable with. Where you will get fired for doing a U-turn (yes, they know when you do one).

 

I remember that happening. I worked for them when that happened. VERY tragic and totally preventable.

 

I don't see how Yolanda couldn't see that big old truck crossways in the street from a mile away. And she probably didn't want to risk messing up her two inch long fake nails to check the brake fluid.
