I liked the comment about the "weekend clueless".. is it that way everywhere? The night and weekend crew seems to shut down on Friday night, and open up again on Monday morning! <scratching off USA Truck from list>....

I have been #####ed out by cops, ticketed by cops and even arrested.
But I have never heard of them firing somebody from their job.
I can't believe they are blowing smoke like that.bamanation Thanks this. -
Tragic sorry to hear about your west memphis scale ordeal, that scale house is full of crooks, and also you were mentioned at usa or at least your problem with that scale house was mentioned by an individual in safety that i cannot name as to not reveal my identity to usa truck...but it was said that safety believed you over the dot officer when they called him , so i can say they believed you or at least thats what was percieved by me...really got a raw deal...but do not let it get you down...and yes if your dot inspectipon shows you were put out of service then theres no case...i have no doubt that the officer told you to take it on to terminal...but he saved his own tail when usa gave him the call and threw you under the bus...keep your head up....Retribution

yeah seems that was a raw deal, sry this happened to you...USA is not all bad and I enjoy my job with them, yes we are slow as all trucking companies are out there right now but we are a solid and debt free company...just got to stick with it thru the hard times...how soon do we forget the good times when its time to really be there for the company, and if your dot inspection shows you were put out of service your kinda SOL, may not be what you want to hear but USA does preach to all drivers ask the dot was there any violations and are you out of service ...we haver a top notch safety program at USA truck and those guys care about the driver, it makes me sad to hear anyone talk negative about them , we all could find something negative about the companies we work for, focus on the good cause i promise the good out wieghts the bad in my book, so instead of slamming companies for the week you got bad miles or the indifference you had why not focus on correcting these things, hey i have bad weeks and times i want to throw in the towel, but the fact is i know usa has my best interest at heart and tho i may not want to accept what they tell me sometimes i know it for the best , everyone is all about me or I...what happened to we and team, I say usa truck is one of the best companies for a new driver to come to and get started in a trucking career...I am a trainer also and its sad to see another trainer slam the company , and i dont think usa would fire someone for posting negative info on here...thats just insaine ...heres the real deal USA is fair, and shows no favortism to any drivers, we have a great training program that gets better all the time, we are staffed with the best folks in the industry, and when our heads sit around the big table you can bet the driver is thought about first, usa is my home and the best trucking company in the industry .................................

why don't they delete company recruiters/managers who come on here and impersonate truck drivers? a truck driver simply wouldn't construct a post that contains the stuff that "trainer101" came up with.
-
Because there's simply no proof one way or another who is an imposter and who isnt. And besides, if they started doing that, fairness would dictate that they would have to start deleting people who do nothing but complain endlessly about companies or the industry in general.

Not everyone out there has been burned by the/a company. And what he's saying seems pretty inline with what the Saftey personel at USA often say.
That doesn't mean you're NOT going to ocassionally run into a night/weekend dispatcher who doesn't understand the word "no", or a service/roadside assitant dispatcher who's all TO familiar with the word.
I will say that one occasion I DID go toe to toe with management over a bad call by roadside and oddly enough, MANAGEMENT BACKED ME UP!
I think the sad thing is this is viewed as an exception and not a rule.
Just keep in mind for ever million-miler 10 year vet who's been burned by a wet behind the ears dispatcher straight out of community college, there's a driver who left a priorty red load parked outside of a strip club while he's inside getting blotto.
Things happen and life isn't always fair.SierraSemiDriver Thanks this.
