As with any large company, some do real well and some don't.
Many drivers at USA Truck make a good living. They have their share of lazy drivers that don't do post trips on the trailers and leave the problems for the next driver, then the next driver complains about USA Truck having junk trailers.

Ashley Distribution is close to the Chicago/WI state line and is considered a top tier trucking job. I'd try this as a first choice. Very few posts on here, but the drivers have posted they make well over $60K.
flyingmusician drives for them; put his name in the search and ask about this company.

Earl Henderson Trucking in Caseyville, IL supposedly has some regional routes; you would have to call to verify that though.
They do have a guaranteed minimum weekly paycheck of $798.00 and of course you can make lots more, but at least you can budget since you will have a minimum paycheck.

 

Thats where i started driving,they were ok,and by now probably improved a little.Next to crst or cr england they are outstanding company.

My dispatcher was a caustically unintelligible Neanderthal troll with a hobbit named jimmy mack backing her every special Olympic style move as far as loads and pay go. But I digress....there are some cool people there in the new blood....just make sure you don't get caught up in the old hillbillies have eyes guard.
