What I'm talking about is not HACKING if the truck is yours.......
and the software is yours, where is that HACKING ?

now if the truck is under warranty maybe you should consider it

there is a laptop on feabay, Item number: 110747356286
sound like it's got what it would take (wise I had the money)

Ownership of the truck is irrelevant. Software is not owned, it is licensed. And if you actually understood the definition of hacking you would not have gotten your panties in a wad and become defensive.

Wouldn't be surprised if that laptop was stolen, I can't imagine any legitimate user selling off such an item with thousands of dollars of software licensed to them on it like that.

If you go to a dealership with your custom software, what do you expect us to do? We ONLY deal with genuine software and ECM operating systems. Yes, you are absolutely right, it is your truck, your ECM, and you can do what ever you want. It will be YOUR problem if something screws up, we will not be able to help you.
