Think of a new entrant audit as the only man in a room full of good looking women. A compliance review is the only man in a room full of mean, ugly man hating women.
This is my thinking and opinion only, but I like to go get a volunteer inspection and get a sticker on the windshield, If you do this it ups your percentage on safety, in your case just once would give you a 100% safe inspection rating if you never got inspected again.
Your new entrant audit doesn't change your rating from unrated. Unrated simply means you haven't had an audit. The rating is actually how you scored on an audit. As in satisfactory or conditional even revoked
As stated above, the new entrant review doesn’t count. This is for my old boss in MT. 2006 is when we had the come to Jesus meeting and had to change how we were running. After the initial audit the inspector came back two months later to make sure the proper changes were made. Then he issued the satisfactory rating. I have no idea what the deal was in 2016 as I wasn’t there at that time.
Non ratable is when it's not bad enough to change to a conditional but not good enough to give another satisfactory. Or not bad enough to change to a unsatisfactory or good enough to satisfactory so stays a conditional. Have had 4 compliance reviews and one non-ratable.
Do you know if someone gives up their dot numbers do they drop them off the safer system so they don’t show anymore...? I tried to look up some old guys I used to run with and can’t find them using the snap shot safer system.......
Revoked goes off safer after a time, but will remain in L&I. If re-activated it goes back to whatever rating it was.
My new entrant audit was done via email. They were satisfied with the documentation and passed my new entrant audit. To get a satisfactory rating you must either be given a safety audit, or you can request one. The safety audit and new entrant audit are too different things.
