I have a 2017 Western Star, automatic transmission. The shift control module went out recently and it seems no one anywhere has this part new and it’s either out of stock or backordered. I can’t sit around and not work for weeks or months, and bought a used one. The people at the shop aren’t sure if it will work, but I’m desperate to get back on the road. Does anyone know what the chances are that it might work? Have you had any experience with used parts like this?
