Used Truck Miles

    Yo, I think this would be a great place to post this.

    I myself took a load of pressed fiberglass down on the Ohio river this past week and then ran into Covington,KY to get my reload home.

    On this trip old red turned over (500,000). This ready is 1,500,000.

    The engine is a Cummins N14 than has had only 1 minor overhaul 3 years ago.
    Tran's is a E/F super 10.

    Just thought I would share that MILEAGE comment here sense we are on the topic.

    She's still running STRONG, and get's great fuel economy.

    We pulled 45,550 LBS of Steel Piping up and outta KY and with no burp's from her at all.

    In fact she's still able to climb + gain speed pulling 45K on ( BLACK Mountain ) in NC!
    That's something to write home about there.....

    So, this also show's it's not miles on the trucks that makes them rough. It's the way the past drivers have abused or taken care of them.
