Yeah me to. This is some BS because I am loosing money sitting here waiting for these idiots to actually work.
Slow your roll, cowboy.... I'm not trying to get in the middle of an argument. I'm just trying to figure out where he might be finding these new rules and regs he's talking about.
Would you consider CSA 2010 new rules? It changes the way the safety score for the companies and the drivers is decided. Not to mention companies could, I said could, use it in hiring and firing of drivers. You missed the point anyway. There are no rules pertaining to the shippers/receivers. They can make you sit there all day, burning you clock while they do whatever it is they do. I'm sure you have sat at a shipper/receiver for 2-8 hours waiting to get loaded or unloaded. There is no penalty for the shipper/receiver. Most of them won't pay detention and the companies won't force them to. You 14 hour clock gets burned just sitting.
No, I didn't miss the point, this is nothing new to TMC or any other company. Try deliviring to a grocery warehouse or pickup from a meat processing plant. I've been on both sides of the fence.
I've done that. Well, not from a meat processor, but delivered to grocery warehouses when I was running dry van. No, it's nothing new. It's trucking.
