Don't listen to that crap. You can go to the oilfield and drive. Try Pumpco. He's just trying to worry you. Obviously US Express is the only job he can get. Depends on where you live. They are extremely busy right now.

    First off it's U S Xpress.

I run team with them and am treated good. Not all the FMs are like you say. My first one was bad. She was straight out of school I think. My current one is pretty good.

How did you only make $240? Did you go home that week? Did you have a run you sat on instead of dropping? Giving some details could get you some good advice on what to do to improve your situation there. With a crap co-driver I average 900-1000 a week.

    CA_Medicine_Woman Thanks this.

As a driver with 4 months exp. You're going to get used, abused, lied to,cheated and over all treated like crap. That's the way trucking is now.If you last a year, then things will open up for you.Good Luck

REALY...? i've been with them for over 8 years as a company driver and over a year as a O/O. not a L/O or L/P but a real O/O and will have my 1,000,000 miles with them soon and with a csa score of 6 i can go ANYWARE i want anytime i want.

i make good money working for them and so do the company teams i know (some with less than 6 months driving) if the op has been talking to his fm the way he posted on here that would be the reason he is having the prob he is having. what part of p o the person that is giving you your loads sound like a good plan....?

doing repowers and short runs is part of it... maybe he should think about it....?? maybe the repower is because the other truck NEED's TO BE HOME... (sick kid, dr app, death at home) short run to get to a better load....? ever think about that...?

he's been driving for all of 4 months and thinks he knows everything about trucking....? if he doesn't like it then he need to go down the road.

i love it when drivers are talking about how they don't get miles.... and if you let them talk long enough you will find out the reason and gee it them...! "i don't do repowers" or "they wanted me to do a 100 mile run and i told them i wouldn't do it" or the way they talk to their fm..

you think the fm doesn't remember the trucks that will help out and take better care of them...? everything i've done a repower if not the next load then the one after has ALWAYS been good, i'll take a short run because i know it will get me to someplace that i will get a good load out of

BTW before you try to run down a company you know nothing about SPELL IT RIGHT

Did you ever go to management? I would have fired that dispatcher pretty quickly. The higher ups know which ones suck and which ones dont.

This is very true. Pay your dues and things generally get better.
