    My wife and I drive for USX. We have been treated well, had two great fleet managers and average 6000 mikes a week. I think for solos there are better options but for teams who want to act professional this is a great place to be.

    After 6.5 years at USX which is like top 5% at that outfit. 8 years heck that has to be top 2% I new they sucked when I went to another company. And stopped the game playing
    I could go on and on and on but the gist is that I know all about USX and their lie of "we care" All they care about is that load your pulling and no matter how long you worked there, if you ain't licking the boot you will get the boot or get starved out.

    If you like being supervised like a student driver every day and jumping through a lot of hoops to make a average BF pay, then yes go to USX.

    Readers should take note that most of the people that sing USX praises are teams and contractors. Why? because they need solo drivers to pu and del their loads.

    And this do locals and short runs to get a good run theory? Yea tried that several times and all it will get you is a faster trip to the poor house. With this outfit if you act like a chump they will treat you like one. They could care less how many miles you get. They have x amount of loads to cover and the faster their forced dpr's cover them the better. You get soft miles and they start with the no frt or 20 trucks and 10 loads excuse while teams and contractors are pu your load while you sit for days.

    You stay on those clock watchers ##### and don't bend over when they cry forced dp is how you get if your lucky average miles at USX. When you call vp's and terminal mngs every time they sit you to wait for a team who needs someone to del their load so they can go do laundry and buy matching shirts out of the company store. They will run you for a while. Then they will go back to acting a fool and the whole game begins again.

    And the favorite excuse the DM's had after you jumped through the hoops to get a good load was I am sorry but I have no control over what load you get. Great then don't act like you do when you need favors done.

    Those small companies dont hire out of school very often and the benefits
    are not as good, and dont always have freight. Im sure some are very good. Feel free to PM me about any in the Atlanta area. Thanks
