I can't remember the name of the forum member that described going to a port to load a piece of equipment that had come from The Netherlands. All the switches and manuals we're in Dutch. It took him a while to figure out how to start it and a good bit longer, testing switches, to figure out how to drive it.

No, I wish I had. The driver made a diagram on the back of an envelope and he and the operator labled everything. I told the driver that he's our official qualified number one curb and gutter machine mover now. He asked me if it was a good time to talk about a raise.

Or trying to kill the engine on an older Cat machine after turning the key off and it still runs. Bending over trying to pull back on the accelerator without hitting the steering wheel or one of the control levers.

I picked up a tracked man/lift with basket like that once. Except it was all in Korean. Not an English word anywhere.

I figured out how to get it started. For the life of me, I couldnt figure out how to lift the basket or get it to move. Took me 30 mins of manually trying,.. then 3 - 4 phone calls and about 10 mins on Google to find what I needed.

Flip this panel and with foot on the safety pedal,.. then hold your belly on the bar down. Then you can use the controls. LOL

You mean you forgot to blow in the breathalyzer? All Korean equipment has a breathalyzer to make sure you are powered by kimchee.

Lots of the boom lifts have to be set from the base control panel with the key to give the power to the controls on the basket to operate from there. Vice versa too if one wants to control it from the ground instead of the basket.

Usually find quarry / rock spec machines narrow pads, this big boy loading largest track crusher in UK narrow pads
Or judging by the boom detatch on the machine in question demolition where it'll spend it's time on concrete/arisings so no chance of bogging?

They are actually normal width tracks. They look narrower because of the extra width of the table.

Its a UHD machine,.. designed for demolition. It has a 2 piece boom and when combined with the stick it will have over 100ft of reach.
