Using Generator

Here's the new setup. Window ac unit mounted and working well. One would have to open hood and then cut big bike lock to get Honda generator. Hopefully nobody even knows its there. Only thing I forgot was my temp and humidity gauge. Next time ... But I can feel it is working good enough. The ac is mounted so it cannot be pushed in or pulled out or lifted up from the outside. The door cannot be opened either.

 

my experience is 22 hours on econo mode running my A/C = 3.5 gal. fuel.

 

How big is your AC BigRay?

 

Hey guys love all the pics, am getting ready to start my own project. Now from what I've seen you have to get out and plug your cords in every time you use this? And in cases of some of these boxes you have to open the doors for venting. Am I seeing this right or do some of you leave them connected all the time? Thanks Danny

 

I had a guy next to me that had a Honda enclosed. I drive at night so I was up at 1am. Something told me to look out my passenger side window. His Honda was on fire and the paint on the side of his truck. You can ##### me out if you want but I moved my truck out into the parking lot first then woke him up and put the fire out. No thanks or anything from that F***er

 

I have to set mine up every time. Takes me maybe 5 minutes ... I am thinking up another way similar to Hurst s setup so all I have to do is fire it up and plug it in. All in good time ...

 

Just make sure you put vent holes and an exhaust fan to get rid of the fumes. Gas is 100 times more flammable then gasoline. You have moving parts in there that can generate a spark real easy! Gasoline vapor can ignite at just 100(f)

It's weird. What makes someone pull back the curtain and look out the passenger side window????? No smell or noise. Maybe a flicker of the fire reflected for a split second
