Ha ha ha ha. Yup. It's too big. This was in Las Vegas. I don't have to pull the curtains closed to separate the sleeper from the front either.
so far this Mach 8 is not impressing me too much. It's a bit shy of 90 out, it's cool in here, but the Roughneck on my old truck I would have turned to low, running this one full blast non stop. IDK if it's luck of the draw or because this is 410 refrigerant instead of R134.
If you have a unit cut into the back of the sleeper like that do you have a way to remove it come winter?
I admire your ingenuity but, Holy Sheet.. how loud is this thing. I understand trying to do a budget AC, I'm surprised nobodys took a shotgun to that thing. Do everyone a favor and get a Honda quiet genset.
Somebody drive a Columbia with Farings everything is closed ,in what Place you installed the box for yo Generator.I like to se Picture how look s. .I like to install a Honda 3000 and Ac.
I am pretty sure a box like I have for the generator would fit between the fairing and the rail, behind the sleeper, if there was ample frame rail space. The box for my Yamaha EF2000 is 15.5" wide and 23.5" long. Here on my Columbia.....
