Here's mine. I fabbed the brackets. Got longer bolts to go through rubber feet on the bottom bolting it on. I do like cowpie's box though.

For someone with full chassis skirts, I see no real problem doing and generator on the frame rail. The above setup, the skirt would offer a fair amount of protection if it wasn't in a box. There are a lot of different ways to go about this. Set it up to fit individual needs and situations.

    LMFAO!!

    You just see that now?
Danny's been sporting his Bruce Jenner pride for at least a week now!

Some red toe nails and that pic would be complete.

Just kidding Danny,.. but it is funny as all,.. I see it and I cant help but wonder what kind of underlying secret that person is hiding.

The metal shop called me in on Monday and discussed some things with me for how I wanted to do my box.

The original box I wanted to do just wasnt going to work. For one,.. it didnt allow servicing the generator. To do the box the way I wanted,.. it would have needed to be on a slide out drawer, where the front of the box pulled out and allowed access to the generator. I was all for it till he told me it was going to cost $2,000.

So we came up with a cheaper alternative. Mounting my generator like you have yours,.. but on the passenger side and a little lower. So the top of the box lays flat with my catwalk. Then the diamond plate box will be on a lid that raises up. It will have a leg that allows the lid to stay halfway for ventilation when running,.. yet low enough that no one can steal it. Then it can flip up tall enough for service. A separate side to store the gas can. When closed,.. no one will know whats in it,.. as it will look just like a diamond plate too box.

Hoping its done by tomorrow. I'm getting cabin fever and need to get out on the road.

good eye, one is a battery ground, one is a static electricity ground, the other is hot wire for the fuel pump.

Or are you referring to the power cords ? If so, the big one on the 30A side is the A/C, first standard cord goes to power strip mounted in cab, second standard cord goes to battery tender.

I'm actually working on tidying that up a bit now.
