You all do realize that two vehicles coming at each other at 60 miles an hour will cover 500 feet in about 2.5 seconds? I don't think it's too much to dim your lights for at least that time.

Yes, but they must be punished! I take it upon myself to administer the punishment in a swift and timely manner in the name of justice.

I close my eyes and pray until the jerk has passed if I don't have enough time to spot him.

Try doing this in conjunction with turning your steering wheel slightly to the left (on a non-divided road of course). This might have some effect.:biggrin_2555:

Somebody after my own heart. Those headlights are a case of trying to make something better by making it WORSE! Thought process of the engineers making those: "Hey the drivers of the cars we sell need to be able to see better at night so we will make these blue colored high power headlights and put them in all our cars then the people driving our cars will be able to see GREAT!" Engineers' boss: "But how will these new headlights affect the other drivers on the road - won't it blind them?" Engineers: "Who cares, as long as the people driving our cars can see!"

Here lately I've seen more and more trucks driving down the road with their high beams on, when there is absolutley no reason for them, I dunno if they're to stupid to realize their on or to lazy to reach down and turn them off, my guess is a combination of both...

LOL...I thought I was the only one crazy enough to actually do that! I know, it's dangerous and I shouldn't do it, but I will admit to doing it on 2 different occasions. The difference between you and me...my spot light is 3-Million Candlepower! Now that will get the attention of a Bowing 747 if need be! :biggrin_2556:

Seriously??? That has to be one of the dumbest questions I've heard this month! Have you even driven ANY kind of vehicle on an actually road???

Don't you sound like a completely inconsiderate @55!!! You will also be the one everyone is flashing back and cursing at over the radio!

So you are the idiot I see running through Southern VA all the time!!!

Are you sure you want to drive a truck or do you think maybe your better off just walking behind one?

    X2 on all of that
I wish you would use your good light on more motorcylist. The bikers as a whole seem to have a real hard on for highbeams headlights.
