And some of us that had tricked out Jakes back in the day with really good stopping power would use the trolley at about 20 psi application while using the Jake just to keep her in balance.

I would use the trolley to hold on a hill as well. You can do a lot smoother start on a steep incline when both feet are on the right pedals to begin with.
You'll never jackknife using a trolley, unless of course you panic and jump on the foot valve when the trailer starts to drift sideways.
