    Roger that looking into gas/ oil well driving now especially for the $ it sucks but I gotta do what I gotta do Usx was great to me for the most part definitely. A great company especially for rookies

    I hope things work out for you, Matt.

    Been sitting at the Pilot east of Nashville since about 1300.....will make the last stop on this run in the morning.

    This is my last evening on the truck by myself for awhile.....my student will be back on the truck tonight and then we have about 57hrs to finish up.

    well guys after getting sick on christmas and a visit to the ER which resulted in a 24 hr stay in the hospital, looks like i'll have the wheels rolling again...picking up tonite in houston and heading to wisconsin ....time to make some pennies ...

    Got deadheaded up to Atlanta after Xmas home time. Now I'm stuck here waiting for a "forced" PM. Stopped in here to get fuel and shop shut us down because we are 11000 overdue for the PM.///LOL

    You are starting a NEW YEAR!!!!!! I really hope things work out better for you...LOL

    Just north on Indianapolis at the Rest Area, heading for Romeoville in the morning. Just hope we get a PP that will keep us running over the weekend because student only needs another 50 hours........and I reallllllly want my truck back to myself....LOL

    Well, after a bit of drama we made it to my parents home in Snohomish Washington for our Christmas with them and our two kids in Washington. After our Fedex load to Fife cancelled two days ago, they found us a load to Portland from LA that delivered at about 20:30 last night. No load from Portland to Seattle so Anne called to verify we could run empty to home. "Yes, after you run an empty trailer out to Toledo Oregon" That is a little town out on the Central Oregon Coast. It would have taken about 6 hours round trip since the roads are narrow and crappy. We pushed back a bit and after getting a little snippy, the night FM said "Fine, go on home and I will tell David (our Fleet Owner) you said no" That is NOT what I had said and told her so. I had said we will do it if we have to but it really sucked. So she said "I have a number of drivers in Portland with nothing to do so I will have one of them do it" Then why in the heck did you even ask us to do it???? Not a big deal really and we are with family. Going to be a great weekend.

    Enjoy your weekend....gotta love those night FMs.

    We delivered our load in Romeoville, picked up the only mt and the DOT inspection was a year ago.....waited an hour to finally get FM and then Breakdown to tell us to take it to Markham.....got here, did about an hour of backing practice and then dropped the trailer on the yard where it will sit until at least Monday.....and now we are sitting with no mt and there aren't any on the yard.

    They tried something like that with us at Christmas. Gave us a load going to Orlando. On the way gave us a load picking up in Miami that evening. We are heading home for time off. I had been out for two months. Then they asked us to p/u the Miami load and drop it in Jax, then dh back down home to Ft. Lauderdale. That would have got me home a few minutes before midnight on Xmas Eve. Had to tell them no.
