150 hours in 4 weeks. There is always some down time for maintenance, slow freight, etc. Enjoy the ride.

Exactly! This time of year freight is moving and so should the trainers. I personally didn't have many maintenance issues in my 2 years. My students did all the driving and got their 240 hours in 4-6 weeks. The first week was key, if they felt comfortable right away they would be closer to 4 weeks.

Crap happens but 120 hours shouldn't take 4 weeks never mind 7 :biggrin_2556:

Just left Springfeild. They did a great job fixing minor issues with the truck. Very professional and speedy. West bound on I-80 again. Running through the weekend.

Well i got hired on tuesday and was given a trainer. im in colton,ca and when i spoke to him he was in minnesota. so he told me to call him the next day so i did and they gave him a load to IL. So he advised me to go back to the terminal and speak to my orientation person and i did. she gave me the right person to speak to and they gave me a trainer that is at the colton terminal. so i met with him and he came accross as the biggest ##shole!! telling me well im taking you on my own road test and for the first few days he's driving before he'll let me drive. Also he told me well im taking some home time next week for a birthday in spingfield and then the weekend after that hes taking another few days off somewhere else. so when i spoke to my training coordinater and she said that if im not behind the wheel on the second day and he is taking all that time off that she is taking me off that truck and putting me on another truck asap.

met the fiances trainer today and he was a really cool guy. met his wife and kids and they took us out to dinner to get to know each other. really nice guy and they are leaving for her training tomorrow. my trainers truck is in the shop.

    *REBELCHICK* congrats girl!!!:biggrin_25522:

    Congratulations Rebelchick!!!

lambogsxr, I'm glad your fiance got a good trainer and I hope you get going soon. It can be so frustrating waiting for a trainer.

I'm sitting in KC with a load that delivers Monday morning. It sucks being 160 miles from home and having to sit, but after I get rid of my load I should be heading for home for 4 days.
