Well we got an actual team run out to Cali. This will put my student way over the 120 though. We have a load going up to Seattle tomorrow. I'm pretty sure that won't make the TC happy. I already have another student lined up.

My current student actually hit a boat in the parking lot of a Flying J. I won't go into details. Let's just say he tried to turn around where he shouldn't have. He should have woke me up. I could have gotten him out of his problem in two seconds.

I finally found out what happened to my last student, sort of. I thought maybe he failed the upgrade test. It turns out he just plain never showed up. He was just a big waste of my time.

    Sucks on the no-show.
Hit a boat? Hurricane Sandy must be bigger than we thought

I thought the no idle temps were supposed to be from 40-70, didn't realize they want us to freeze for a bit till we can run the truck to warm up. I also have a 2011 F/L Cascadia, no idle restriction ssshhhhh.

I am sitting at Love's in Zanesville, OH right now. Waiting on a load, but don't think they are going to be sending me anywhere east, seems everywhere is shutdown. I live in Northeast PA, praying that everything is ok with my wife and kids over the next few days. Stay safe everyone.

Temp last night was in the 30s where I shut down... Woke up and my bunk heater was off and the bunk lights wouldn't come on... Guess I ran the batteries down to shutoff point. It was cold, I couldn't pull myself out of bed to start the truck and sit there and babysit the idle shutdown bull crap... I want a diff truck now lol, they can have this prostar back!

Reseated to the second "new" truck yesterday. DT not working properly. I guess we will roll "old school", write order info on notepad. Today is day 9 without any miles. I think we may just have the breakdown record.

Hey all. Hope everyone is doing good out there! I'm sitting up here in Albany at a rail yard waiting to get loaded with silicone. Been sitting here for 3 hours now but sitting around these days are no big deal when you get paid by the hour and after 15 min you get hourly detention time! New job has been great so far I'm loving being home everyday and the guy who's training me is cool and the other guys are pretty good guys. Trucks are nice and well kept and the work isn't hard at all. Just alot of paying close attention to what your doing. And the most important thing...the wife is MUCH happier I'm home now! No more added stress neither one of us need right now. Life is good. Hopefully everyone else is having some good luck and getting some good miles out there!

    NavigatorWife and HD_Renegade Thank this.
