Not all the trainers are the same, I just did not have any luck with the first one is all. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Well it was a very long night for me. I drove 600 miles in my 11 hour run. We are outside St Louis and SheepDog is taking over the wheel and I can get me some sleep!!!!! We should be in Salt Lake tomorrow morning.

Ok we are a little over an hour from Salt Lake City, drove another 650 or so and burned my 11 hours!!!! I can hear my pillow calling my name. O'ya we already have a load to pick up right after this one that goes to NJ. I have 98 hours in and will have another 22 to ad to it by Friday!!

FYI - night running can be rough, and you need to be able to trust the other person behind the wheel while you sleep. SheepDog and I talked about the trust and the both of us being able to sleep while the other is driving.

If having a shower every day is a big issue for you, you do not want to go into trucking.

    SheepDog Thanks this.

I have never gone more than three days without a shower and I think that has only happened twice. I get a shower most days and we run 6000 miles a week.

    SheepDog and mtnMoma Thank this.

Keep in mind that teams have a little more flexibility. When I ran teams we usually showered and got a good meal after every run. We weren't on e-logs then either.

Some things to consider: All but two of my fuel stops have been either Pilot or Flying J. I will not pay 10 bucks for a shower so that means I have to shower at one of those places usually. There have been plenty of times where a Flying Pilot is not in a spot where I need to stop. Where you stop is based on the ability to get the load to where it's going, or to get to the next load before the clock runs out. There have been plenty of times where I've spent the night at a shipper or receiver.

    NoCoCraig and SheepDog Thank this.

Another day in the books. 684 miles and ran my 11 right out to the minute. They changed our load yesterday so we are running up to MA then down the NJ.
