I have said this before on other threads but i think it bears repeating. The only way to get what you want and need is by treating others with respect (and a bit of humor helps also) Screaming will never get you what you really need, it will get the other person off the phone as quickly as they can. We have had nothing but great experiences with every department in this company. I believe it is mostly due to the fact that no matter what is going wrong, we never pick up the phone without a smile in our voices. You can turn crabby people around pretty quick (are you reading this crabby lady in the Ellenwood shop?) They have probably been being yelled at all day and good things will happen to you if you stand out for a good reason.

This is not aimed at anyone. I just wanted to let you know what works for us and we have had pleanty go wrong.

I agree with you Craig. I have done pretty well with trying to remain positive, honest, and respectful with the folks I have talked with.

I posted a thank you to the lady that has been helping me on the USX Facebook page as well. I have also sent her an e-mail thanking her for her time today. Just trying to be professional about this.

    Thank you

That is my motto, except instead of "Cry" mine is "Have Anne call"

She called me and asked me to convey her deepest apologies for being crabby. She was having a bad-hair day.

Craig, your attitude is a exactly spot on what I KNOW to be a fact in life.. Treat people with respect, smile and show them that you care and life will always be good, in genral.. NO, you are not ALWAYS going to have a good conversation with everyone... some people just cant live without being negative for whatever reason but, if you do as Craig says all the time and regardless what attitude others are in, you will be rewarded and life in general will just be good...

The Challenger and mtnMoma Thank this.

    Update:
I heard from Mark today (works in the training department and is the Training Coordinator). He gave me the info on my new trainer. I need to be back in Tunnel Hill Sunday night, and am supposed to be going out with the trainer on Monday morning. I will let you folks know how things go.
