Read all the CR England reviews. They are considered to be the worst of the megas. Don't go there.

Really? Why.? low pay? I was wanting to test using an automatic. Before you ask.......I am 51 years old I I only see me doing this for 10-15 years.. It was like patting your head, rubbing your stomach and tapping your foot at the same time. And the fact that I have always driven a manual pick up. Very hard for me to get that out of my head. Always forget to rev That is sad I know. Plus the fact that on my first day behind the wheel, I had a trainer actually screaming at me. I was making a right turn. Started turning in the middle of an intersection. I looked up and a car was headed straight at me. So I then got back in my lane and the trailer almost took out stop sign. On my 2nd time behind the wheel, I was ready...before he got in passenger seat I hit the record button on my phone. Yep I got him on tape and went straight to the owner with it. A CDL school in Colorado. The place we stayed at was so filthy and disgusting. So I took photos of it all. I still have photos and a recording. They claimed to be one of the best school in the U.S. However the reason is because they never fail anybody. You can stay until you can pass.

There is one facility in New Jersey that washes out trailers of the reefer kind. I forget exactly where it's located at the moment, but taint too far from Jersey City. And evidently the one that everyone likes to send trailers to because they are so cheap.

When I was 21 and hit that place I discovered certain deviancy that was not acceptable. And swore I would not be back. And made sure most of my life I was not back there with a trailer or any other reason. Fast forward to 2001, I returned and remembered it all over again because I managed to forget completely. (Its actually a blessing given a long enough time you forget, or learn to forget well enough so that certain things need not be spoken about) Wife was with me as a team. I explained to her exactly what to expect when she had to go to the bathroom what with the holes between the two rooms side by side and for that reason I made very certain to use my size and heft to make sure no one visited the other John while she did her business. And that was concluded well enough and got her the hell out of there.

Do not ask me to explain any more. If you have not been around bad areas with vice and immorality and see the evidence of, then you are blessed in not knowing or seeing. It is a shame people hold on to the same old tired worn out filth in life. It is good sometimes to take the trash out and seek out a better instructor or environment.

Yes, learn to drive a manual. I had to make the switch mentally from Synchro To non Synchro Transmissions too, and it's not easy. But let's say you go with an automatic company, fine. What happens when your truck breaks down, and now you're in a Penske. All of their trucks are manual. So even if you go with an automatic company you better know how to drive a manual

I am speaking of places that facilitate human vices in general. I am not talking to you specifically. Trucking has some good things and also some bad things to go with it.

I have a habit of either getting a touch of dramatic or a touch of going back into what was once upon a time in the industry. My story is my own and some of it is still useful even today.

I don't always write very well sometimes and it's a failing of mine. So I just let it go at that.

If you think that's a filthy and disgusting bathroom I can't wait to see how you deal with the average truck stop or rest area, let alone some of the vile driver facilities at certain customers.

Why is because CR England is known to be a horrible place to drive for. Just do a simple search for CR England and read it. There are plenty of better Auto only companies to train at if that is what you are looking for.

Who me? HA. No Im not looking. Ive had companies way worse than little old CR. I am out of the industry. Maybe a 6 million dollars in parts to use a old Lee Majors TV show in the 70's will make a DOT Med Legal trucker out of me HA...
