You go into the shop with a single problem. You come out of the shop with two problems.

NO need for lying it's my life were truly talking bout...flips side to that coin if I crash cause the power goes out and somebody dies myself or someone else and usxpress was fully aware of the problem does it really matter it cost 150,000 ...I don't think so. See money backs people and companies make very bad decisions...Think about safety 1st it could be your family member or mines who we lose does that 150,000 really worth it.???

What's even more ridiculous is the fact that this truck has had the SAME ISSUES with OTHER DRIVERS and the COMPANY KNEW ABOUT IT before giving the truck to the OP- that should send up all kinds of red flags. That being said, I'd give the OP the benefit of a doubt. Could be something simple as blowing a fuse or two or something more underlying, such as an alternator giving up the ghost or a short in the wiring (harness) or maybe even an issue with the battery shutoff switch (this actually happened to me-wire arcing almost started a fire because bolts weren't tightened down like they were supposed to be- chronic problem on later Volvos).

If you happened to hit someone and a couple good lawyers found out USX had knowledge of the problem and assigned you the truck anyway they'd be out a whole lot more than $150k.

I think we can all agree on that.

You are also aware of a problem yet you continue to drive it. You hurt or kill someone with that truck your ### will be in a sling also for operating a defective truck.

I can't agree 100%. The driver driving a truck he knows has problems has to bear some of the responsibility. If that had happened to me I'd have tried to restart and if it happened again that truck would be parked. Especially at 4am.
