    Yeah just got my regular in october. It would be my luck that I live in on of the 5 hardest states. I appreciate your reply though. I wonder if I go through a private trucking school that things will be different. I might able to go a month earlier or something like that.

    ye I know its only 6 months. Its more of that my life is on hold until then. Nobody gonna hire me if I quit in 5 months. Thanks again though.

    Hate to break the news to you but if you think we are rough, get ready for a miserable trucking future, we are puppies and kittens compared to the real world.

    That said, don't tell us you don't have a choice, you have lots of choices, the problem is this - you assume that you will make the cut and be able to drive a truck which is wrong, you may be washed out in the first week or flunk the road test.

    Its possible that I don't enjoy trucking or even that I flunk out. I had many other options but I decided on trucking. For that reason, I don't think I will be having any of those issues.

    I for one applaud the guy. He asked a very pointed question, and when the fools went off tract he refused to take their crap. Good on him for standing his ground & not letting you fools beat him down.
