I think you missed my snide sarcasm there mate. My solution is be more choosy who GETS a license, the first two were pure snark. Well maybe not the ticket one id love to see some od these idiots get slapped with 10k tickets for being idiots..... As long as we let morons on the road the issues will get worse and while i dispise a government solution i cant see one that would work without a ground up restructure of how our entire economy works.

So i suggest the one thats most likely to be effective. Make it so morons have more issues GETTING a licnese and much easier to LOSE it afterwards.

Who says these troopers aren't at fault for parking their vehicles in a bad position or not providing enough warning ahead of the incident? I have zero sympathy for someone who makes a living collecting revenue from taxpayers. Zero. I don't hear Veterans crying about getting shot at. These mofos wanna cry about the dangerous conditions that exist on the highways??? The same conditions that they participate in making dangerous??? Find another job trooper or park in a better position or something but FFS, stop crying about how dangerous your job is. Nobody cares. #supplyanddemand

Frankly, how can anyone not see those emergency lights flashing especially these new led lights they use… basically it’s coming down to inconsiderate fools on the highway driving anymore… There are also too many people are on the shoulder For non emergency purposes too…

You can't fix stupid. There is no way to communicate to so many hard-headed people at the same time. Like deer, I assume there are humans that get stuck in the bright lights too...truckers know this. We see the dumbest/weirdest/craziest stuff happening inside of the cars down below us as they pass by...

And trucks too, half of the trucks I see going down the road are watching a movie of doing face ime with someone or just playing on their phone.

I have talked to several people who claim to get mesmerized or fixated on them with how bright they are. Personally during daylight I have no issue myself but in the dark out between noplace and noware it is actually sometimes hard to see around, beyond as you approach.

So it’s definately not that they don’t see them in all cases, which in itself is part of the issue. We are seeing a similar result due to different causes.

There are 2 problems. First on a dark road the flashing lights cause a person to lose depth perception. The second is target fixation. Its where the mind locks onto the flashing lights and then causes the body to head straight towards them. Not making excuses because the odds of either happening increase dramatically with fatigue.

I have listed those on an other post. My personal issue is trying to see past. I have come across situations where the combination of flashing lights made it difficult to see beyond the area being lit up by those lights. It doesn’t happen often but it has happend. I have also met others who have commented on it and they also seem to hint that it’s not everytime.
