Has anyone started for a company with vacation plans already made for that summer? We have already put 600.00 into a beach rental. Just wonder how most trucking companies are on this. Would they allow you to take it with no pay for that week so you don't lose out on the money you have invested already?

Most companies will work with you on that if you tell them up front about your plans.

This isn't grade school....Do you want a job or not. Sometimes I just laugh at some of the questions on here.

FYI, for anyone clicking on this thread wondering about vacation policy, I believe you can take up to six weeks a year after your 90 days is up. So say you got 1 weeks vacation, you can take another 5 weeks unpaid.

I'm thinking about taking a two-week stretch on top of the christmas/new years period.
