Yep, its TOTALLY about a virus if it goes that far. I guess covid makes a person keel over unexpectedly and lose control of a 100k lb rig.

Control, not safety.ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -
Well it didn't take me long to get another job. I just received interest from a pretty reputable company that has awesome trucks--Petes, KW's, etc. I will not say who but their trailers are covered in produce and, if you work in this industry, you've seen them everywhere.

Hopefully you didn't sign up for their never never leasing plan.BigHossVolvo, Sether, Magoo1968 and 1 other person Thank this.
-
Actually this plan seems to be changing. I think they want vaxxed drivers even for Canada only. I'm waiting on a reply and, no, would never do a lease.xlsdraw Thanks this.

I may be wrong about company but if it’s the one I think it is . They were requiring drivers to buy a bunch of load locks and possibly a cold wall . That was years ago mind you.
-
A lot of company's require the vax now because their customers request only vaxed drivers PU/Deliver to their facility's .
-
They also made national news when COVID hit their farm due to employee treatment.
-
Ended up with a big fine out of it too.Magoo1968 Thanks this.

Actually, I'm talking with this guy again, says he got me mixed up with someone else. He thought I had only one year experience and I thought they want Canadian drivers to be vaxxed. All sorted now.
He offers me .50 Montreal to GTA or Cambridge. I asked how much for switches, live, etc. Waiting on his reply.
If they're switches I could do 1.5 to 2 a day.
Should I ask for .65?
