I use one of this cordless lithium ion Dyson, exceptional, powerfull, strongly recommend; about 200$ at Costco; they have 2-3 variants, multiple nozzles better; the wide rotary vacuum brush works great for truck.

i use a hang on shopvac. runs just fine off my inverter, decent suction and very small mabye 1'x6"x10" (rough guesstimation without" measuring) elements are washable. a foam one covered by a cloth one. the only real down side to it, is being so small the collection area is pretty small, so the filter tends to plug up fairly quickly.

however if there is no one parked around you empty the dirt cup and then use your air gun hooked to the seat air to blow the filter out, if you have people parked around you that you don't want to cover in dust you can empty the dirt container put the top/filter back on and tap the whole thing on a hard surface a couple of times to knock some of the dirt off the filter then re-empty the container.
