So have done now three rebuilds on a Detroit 60 12.7 and have never had this happen before. The new heads we keep getting its like the valve head is un-welding. Is this common? Are we doing something wrong?

well the valves are being snapped off the stems.
either too much spring pressure, or very old valves you are using..??? -
we got the head from a machine shop the first one i believe was a reman and this second one was supposed to be new

it was running fine did everything by the book driver even said it was running great until they heard a pop and back it came
