Its Amazing how many different things can have the same symptoms. I've been struggling for years with a c12 MBL(bridge Motor) head pulled twice, overhead not holding, smoking skipping, poping out intake, replaced injector, today noticed that the lifter flap for #6 intake is barely moving. I can actually push on the intake rocker arm while engine is running. Looks like the cam lobe is worn slap off.

i know i brang truck to a shop for this today and they did a cut out test said it was #6 injector so they replaced it got half way home noticed truck running rougher then b4 truck doesn't do it till warmed up to bad shop is 100 mi away called shop shop said bring it back must be #5 they also said that the first guy had injectors like 2 turns to tight

update took valve covers off took a stethascope sorry can't spell ha and checked for noise it is coming from the new #6 injector so with nothing to lose i swapped cylinoids from #5 and 6 started again now noise is from #5 and still skipping seems like the skip is in sync with noise so what you think is the cylinoid my prob? can i just buy a cylinoid? thanks shawn

you can check soliniod with multi meter, you need to find out what they should be at, sorry i dont have the specs.

You can't just change solenoids. The injector must be replaced. There can still be a problem with the injector mechanically and not kick put a fault code.
