The beauty is it's an easy fix. All you have to do is click on the profile and poof you don't have to read their self righteousness.

At the end of the 21st century, parents will encase their children in clear protective shells. They will not have to walk, they will not do manual labor of any sort. And they will be protected from contagious disease. They will be known as the Bubble Children.

A couple of bubble children will spend time with their great grandfather, Dye Guardian, the last remaining Man.

BubbleBrent: Grandpa Dye, tell us the story of how you grew up without a bubble.

Old Man Dye: Well, see there used to be these things call men...they used to work with their hands, work really hard, then eat meat and drink beer, and chase the women folk around the bedroom.

    BubbleBrent: Meat? Disgusting.

BubbleBrenda: Why did they chase women? Did they eat women?

    Old Man Dye: Welllllllll....

BubbleBrent: Weren't you afraid, living outside a bubble? You could get hurt.

Old Man Dye: But without pain, you never become tougher.

BubbleBrent: Why would a person want to be tough?

Old Man Dye: If you became tough, you wouldn't have to live in a bubble.

BubbleBrenda: But we love the bubbles! They keep us completely safe!

Old Man Dye: You traded freedom for safety. It was better to be tough.

I remember in South Korea in the '80's the older generation was lamenting how their children were growing up unwilling to do any job that involved any of the "Three D's":

    Dirty, Difficult, Dangerous

It's been that way for some time in America. Millennials grow up fed on the idea that they will have a good life, drink lattes, play video games, and work in an office with really cool people, all without ever having to break a sweat or do actual work.

Flatbed is the antithesis of that. You do hard physical labor. You work in environments that are inherently hazardous. You get sweaty. You get dirty.

At the end of the day you feel great. You made a difference. You are doing something that not everyone is willing or capable of doing. When you check your bank account for your paycheck and/or settlement check, you smile.

The more difficult, dirty, and dangerous the load, the greater the fun factor.

No one wants to flatbed. Everyone wants to heavyhaul. No one wants to go to boot camp. Everyone wants to be special forces.
