Just a tip dude unless you intend writing a novel keep it short and sweet, most of us can only read 3 sentences at best ultimately it's your choice mate. Flat beds probably easier to park and get unloaded that's the only advantage really its your choice though.

Aussiejosh, Six was naking fun in a way of some of the repeated same posts from new drivers. Nobody seem to use the search forum when they come on. Thus asking the same question again and again lol

I do disagree with your post. For one, whether getting to the point by roundabout way with a story or three or taking a driver to task, @TripleSix has valuable insight on doing it the right way.

Second, don't fool yourself that flatbedders either don't or can't back. If you have to back at an angle in a muddy yard to get precisely under a 35' long piece of machinery to line up the trailer so the load is balanced and won't extend over the rails on either side, while keeping the three forklift drivers safe as they hold that piece in the air, then you understand. Or, initiating a half mile back with a blindside at a levee construction site, while avoiding crushing newly laid drainage pipe and numerous stacks of pallets and machinery along the way as you weave your way through the mud, then you would know.

We don't bang docks. At construction sites, oil rigs, fracking pads, or inside crane operations we frequently have to get within fractions of an inch of millions of dollars of equipment and Hazmat containment. It can be high stress, but it's also high on the fun factor.

Stupid? Mentally lazy? Vans. "Where should I go?" Vans.

Kept it really simple in the opening post.

"But Six, you wrote so much more after that...a whole freakin novel."

Targeted audience. I just knew you all wouldn't be able to finish anything past 3 sentences. But you would see VANS. I word answer 4letters long. Mission accomplished.

    "Six, you're an A Hole."

    Yes, I am.

Hey six its the twitter age, don't ya know everything is supposed to be said in under 150 characters. Twitter invested millions in research and found that 150 characters is the maximum attention span of this millennial generation.
