The extra money you make goes to surgery and physical therapy.Puppage, lots of character, freightwipper and 3 others Thank this.

I know flatbed work is hard on the body. Would you spend the little extra to get a reefer or just a dry van. Are there places that won't load dry freight on a reefer?
-
The question is to be a real trucker or not.
TaylorMade407, lots of character and Straight Stacks Thank this. -
Meaning?

I have never run into that. Buy a reefer in my opinion...it's obviously a bit heavier than a box, but increases your load opportunities.
-
That's my thinking as well. Thanks for the input. I've driven reefers but not a ton. Anything specific I should look for when purchasing one. I plan on taking someone I know with me that's been doing this a lot longer than I have btw
Straight Stacks Thanks this. -
