Boy, Atom Banana brings back alot of memories, was there back in '91 or so. Are they still in the old water market? When i was there they had a chicago cop that worked the market and would help drivers back in blindside with his hand signals and he was perfect. When i got backed in,got out and looked at my trl. I was about half inch out of square. That cop had a good reputation back then. Alot of drivers knew adout him.

No, Atom is now part of The Chicago International Produce Market on the corner of Damen Ave. & Blue Island Ave. just off of 55. It is a pretty good sized building with 15 or so different produce outfits. It is all gated off with quite a bit a security roaming around so parking there overnight is not so bad.

Is there good money in produce? Or are a lot of produce company owners laundring other money through their business? I saw two Audi A8's, double parked, a Mercedes S550, and a Porsche Cayanne GTS while I was in there!

I'm getting unloaded at Skylark Meats in Omaha now. Hell of a day/night. Preload at Excel/Cargill in Breadstown, almost got dizzy being hearded in and out of the truck and all over the facility, then stop two pickup at Cargill Ottumwa, 1.5 hours to get a door, 6 hours total, 8 hr sleeper to get me to here on time barely, with less than 15 minutes left on the clock, now I need to squeeze my two in before they kick me out so I can get to Lincoln late.

Sounds like a normal Cargil load from Beardstown & Ottumwa. Where are you headed to in Lincoln? As you were saying, I'm not sure about the whole money thing with produce, but it being Chicago nothing would really surprise me.

Oh hell, they don't make much of a fuss if you are a little late as long as the office calls them. It is actually better to go in there a little later in the morning, the docks for the cooler are kinda tight to get into. The directions in the QC are spot on for them. Make sure you go into the first entrance on your left so you don't have to try and blindside into the dock. I live in Lincoln so that place is a regular for me when I get home.

Thanks for the advice but I was too late to see it. That sign they have out front and the directions about the second gate are a bit deceiving. I almost did it but then I cranked the tractor to the left to look behind me (on the street) and I didn't see anybody so I justed backed her up to the first entrance. Now I'm sitting at the scalehouse waiting for another Cargill load. Super excited about getting up at 2 AM again tomorrow. Ugh.

Anyone else plagued by the "exhaust gas pressure" code and a 25% or better reduction in power?

No, have you called Andy in the shop about it? It might be the sensor in the DPF is gummed up or needs replaced.
