Uggg I have been idling a lot this month so far....its stupid hot out.....and I love all these anti idle states.....cause all you here is the idling of trucks at the rest areas and truck stops....its just too #### hot and since I have been driving at night a lot I am sleepimdng during the hot part of the day.......
On another note my installed Sirius radio started working in this truck.....I had my XM reciever hooked up cause I couldn't switch to a Sirius account...but the Sirius started working...so no complaintsnotezbngrn71 Thanks this. -
I just got off the phone with her and she didn't remember the conversation but its all good. She said its not that big of deal as long as I get my miles for the month of August. Since my average is 14K a month right now, don't think that'll be a problem either...LOL!

Yeah this running back and forth betWeen the Midwest and east coast really ticks up the miles....I love it.....
Right now I am getting loaded on the freezer side of the warehouse I just delivered too....how cool is that...deliver to the reefer side then pick up 3 doors down at the frozen side....
What I am really enjoying about this company is the fact that I don't feel like my time gets wasted sitting and waiting for a load...or an answer to a question..., or better yet running stupid errands....cause they seem to understand time is money...Last edited: Jul 17, 2012
Treefork, notezbngrn71 and bbechtel16 Thank this. -
I'm starting to wish i never left the house, went into dayton, va for a ld delivering tomorrow morning, but as soon as i get on I 64 west in va and get up on the first big hill, i lose power and the check engine light, and with the shipper not finishing loading till last nite, i had just enough time when i came off my sleeper split. Sitting here in charleston waiting to get the engine code read. Got a hold of sheldon and waynesboro, waynesboro was helpful, but as usual its hard to get a straight answer about whats going to happen with this mess.

[h=6]Got my preplan to relaunch tomorrow. The good news is I don't need to leave the house till 1100. The better news is the load heads be back through the Mother Ship to get my truck back. The bad news I have to be in N. Sioux Falls, SD at 0700 Friday morning. So another overnight driving...ugh![/h]

I have been getting engine lights lately......but only when I let off climbing a hill...I looked it up for mine...its a lack of boost pressure on one...and the other exhaust temp sensor reading too cool....not worried about either since they clear when I cycle the ignition...I will have the shop look at it when I run through the mothership...

Read all 100+ pages on Van Wyck. Appreciate it guys. Going down to Sheldon tomorrow (from Sioux FAlls) to tal to Tim. Seems like a nice straightr up guy. Suggested part time ( 65 year old retired homebuilder) wish they had more lanes pulling the west mountains 'cuz I enjoy it. Donner et.al. Think I have finally found the best company for a relative newbie and right in my backyard. If you like will keep you posted. Gregor
