I usually start out from home with a fresh reset, run a load down to va or md, then west, pickup a load going east, usually to nj, va, or md, then home, and i take anothe 34hrs or a couple of days off, they are usually flexible and good to work with on home time. I delivered near home this morning thinking i could squeeze today's drop in with a washout with only 2.5 hours left of my 70 and keeping off the toll roads to get home, but that choice bit me in the tail. Rte. 5&20 was still closed, and the other road construction traffic ate time up, plus DOT is out like flies on a corpse in this state today. I ducked into the petro up herein waterloo until i get more hours.....oops! Note: if anyone is running upstate NY, make sure your ducks are in a row, they are out on a tear after that fatal wreck near Ft. Drum a few days ago,( a MBM truck plowed into stopped traffic, and 6 people got killed in that mess), and NYSP has been out for blood since.

Yeah, great. Talk about closing the barn doors after the horses have gone.

@ Hawk: I've got 757. Kev got my sister ship.

@ Kev: If nobody's told you yet, the best way to keep that baby in DEF is to fill it whenever you're in sheldon, and otherwise keep 2 or 3 of those 2.5 gallon bottles in your gear box. Fill up the DEF from them when you're not at the fuel island, and then fill the the bottles from the bulk pump the next time you fuel.
Honestly, I'd love to have just one swing at the genius that put the DEF tank on the passenger side on this generation of trucks.

Any of you Van Wyk drivers in Fogelsville PA yesterday? I had two of your trucks behind me as I was turning off Rte 100 onto Industrial. If so, I was the water tanker going to Niagara Bottling.
