In webberville MI at the aldi...not a bad place...could use some more exterior lighting though.....finallhy over whatever was causing me to be sick as ####...with a nasty ear infection.......made it to the window of that walmart load 30 minutes late....would have been on time if it wasn't for the traffic cluster in charleston WV......
This load was a 2 stopper with one in Ohio and the other in Michigan.....took the scenic route to Ohio and saved me a few hours...the driving wasn't too terrible...lots of curves on narrow roads but I was cautious enough...really pretty on some of those back roads in PA......

I had to reject a brokered load out of michigan cause I didn't have enought hours.....I think dale is on vaca cause I have been dealing with Leah (who is the bomb btw) and steve..... they tried giving me a load that was a total 800 mile run with only 5 left on a 70 and picking up 5 tonight...... told them tomorrow delivery kinda difficult....and to try and get me something home for a reset....(also so I can run to the doc to get my ear checked out)....

Still in Weberville MI......with no load...been sitting here all day with the silent treatment....(I think I am getting cold shouldered cause of load rejection)....I just couldn't do the load they wanted to stick me with...with the hours I had left on a 70 and a recap...it just wasn't possible...otherwise yeah i would have jumped all over it....so here I sit....(how come I can never get stuck somewhere neat....always get stuck in the middle of nowhere with nothing around for miles...LOL)...oh well its another day tomorrow...hopefully something will come up and I can go home and see my kiddos...

Did you call them? It's likely that that brokered load was the only thing they could cook up, and when it wasn't possible they were left with limited options.

naw i don't think they're giving you the cold shoulder, just freight out of Michigan sucks... I've sat in that area for a day myself trying to get loaded and with the fact that your limited on hours didn't help matters!! So naw man, don't think you pissed anyone off because odds our you didn't... just next time remember when you low on hours in your 70 and you go to Michigan or Northern Indiana just get in touch with dispatch as soon as you can or either when Waynesboro tries to put that load on you just tell them the deal about you might be short on hours...

From my experience, ive rarely had to sit very long between loads with this company (unless i'm home, then i welcome it lol), and if you get a broker load, its usually to get you to somewhere to get the good stuff. Best thing is to COMMUNICATE your hours, usually i will call in to cory, angie, or dave, depending on whose territory im in, before i get to my final drop, and i'll give them a heads up if im going to be low on hours. With elogs, there's no reason they shouldnt have axcess to your hours, but with 200 or so drivers to deal with, of course sometimes things will get mixed up and chaotic. I had some frustrations when i first started here a couple or so months ago, but once i learned how to work around the sometimes crazy tight schedules on some loads, and the money started rolling in, things smoothed out.
