Going into mclane in danville il tonite, anyone know if there is overnight parking nearby? The shipper their swwet old time loading me, so there wasnt much left on my clock when i finally got out of there.

 

sitting in the final service plaza before the 90/94 split...was thinking about the J in lake station...but figured I get more sleep here...gotta make it to jackson WI by 07 and baraboo by 11 tomorrow...then hopefully they will let me go back to the house...cause I will be short on hours and I gotta pick up the kids on saturday for a week of fun with daddy!!

the shipper in VA took forever to load me...but its alright I got my much needed break in and had fairly light traffic through PA...I will say the perrysburg and stonybrook J and Pilots were long ### lines for fuel...ugg...but lucked out and got in and out quick...saved me some time...

 

There is supposedly a large Marathon truckstop off of exit 220 right down the road from McClane there...

 

Sitting out here south of Seattle,did 3 drops today and 1 more tomorrow. Guessing the fun will start after that,calling for 1 to 3 ft of snow in the mountains tomorrow and Thursday not what I wanted to hear. Guess you have to take the bitter with the sweet. On a more positive note I absolutely love my new Volvo handels great has really nice turning radius,just a great truck. Keep em out of the ditches.

 

Does anyone know the kind or size of hub covers for our trucks?? Stupid Broad ran into the side of my steers on the Cross Bronx today and luckily through the grace of god just crushed the hub cover and a few lug nut covers... just trying to get these things put back on, it's an eye sore to look at even tho it could of been worse!! Also is they easy to put on? Guy at the truck stop was trying to tell me i had to possibly get a new cap???

 

Sheldon has that stuff in stock to replace. Don't spend your money.

Problem I don't go to Sheldon and they don't send it out here because before my buddy quit he needed two of them and he never got them, plus we get reimburse for them anyway I don't mind buying them

 

Well, got to my final delivery here in cedar falls everyone screaming to get there early....to wait. Meanwhile, they got me grabbing the next load in waterloo to omaha by 6:0am....not too bad in summer, but through a ###### blizzard?? What are these people smoking? ..I let them know i cant guarantee that time since i'm going to be going right through the teeth of the thing, and it's supposed to drop a foot of snow by morning...what are these people in sheldon thinking...have me sit though an hour long safety meeting, plus during orientation vogel saying to shut it down if winter conditions aren't safe....but dispatch has no clue that a storm is coming? I nearly blew a gasket on these people. I'll try to get it there, but i plan on shutting it down if it gets to the point where i cant see 5 feet in front of me or they close the road. If it ends up late because of this and sheldon decides to write me up for trying not to get killed, so be it.

 

Well i am stuck picking up a load going to front royal...i am supposed to relay it off of me and trade me something going home....i have been out two weeks and was hoping to beat the storm home but instead i got ######....now iprobably wont get home til friday...well let me phrase that....i WILL be home friday one way or the other cause i pick the kids up on saturday.....so if you hear i quit you will know why...i am not letting my kids down...

 

Try not quit driver, the company is short on drivers and mike won't quit calling my cousin so be careful and try not to get too jacked up. I'll talk with Barb and see what she can do about the inconvenience and extra stress this may have caused.
