They'll give you $120 tax deductible every month towards your own insurance if you don't get theirs

Plainfield...wish I would have run that extra half hour or so last night...but i was sick as a dog...I ate some bad food and it was a rough night not to mention a rough day....but I pushed through...I stopped here knowing trying to find a place to park in Jersey after 5 requires a miracle....but I am only an hour and a half out so no biggie.....

Well Folks, Today marks an end of an era... I've moved on to the world of being an owner operator. For the most part I enjoyed my 2 1/2 years here at Van Wyk as I learned alot of things and met and made a few friends along the way.

For anyone whose wondering, this is a pretty good company, they make you shake your head and sometimes make you want to shake their heads but overall they're good folks. I've always wanted to own my own truck since a kid and my dad made that possible to achieve when he left this world. So if i didn't have that coming for me, odds are I would be at Van Wyk for years to come, not to mention I glossed over the fact on Leasing with Van Wyk over the Summer but Tim said trucks had to be 5 years or newer and I did not want to own anything Emissions related!!

I wish you all the best and like the others who have moved on from VW I'll drop by every so often.. Stay safe VW drivers, and who ever gets 818, please take care of her, I left her in pretty good shape at 165K, just got a pipe changed out in between the Turbo and DPF, still runs as smooth as she was new when I picked her up with only 124 Miles on her a year and a half ago. But the Fridge is messed up, just a heads up lol

Well good luck Hawk on your new endeavor......This week is already starting off crappy...sitting in chicago across from the post office..(yall know where)...traffic sucked to get here naturally....it was Jay and mike dispatching this weekend and we all know how that goes...they #### near didn't get me enough time for a 34 this week and were already chasing me out of the house before I even got home.....then I find out that my appt time wasnt til 1 pm today...wonderful...so I am stuck where I am until tonight cause traffic ate all my hours...plus I know I will need to washout before loading anything else on this trailer cause Im hauling combos and we know how nasty they can make a trailer.... Im just grumpy this week I guess...Jay kinda rubbed me the wrong way.....

So I see much hasn't changed since i left one month ago. Hawk, good luck in OO world I'm sure you'll do fine. So guy's at least the weather is getting ready to break. To those guys thinking about jumping onboard, go for it, not a bad company at all.

    Happy Trails
