Stuck here in Edinburgh Va waiting for these idiots at "never ready foods" to get done loading my trailer, after I sat since delivering yesterday morning in abingdon... These people seem to have a record for never having a load ready on time.

 

Lol im headed there after I drop in front royal here shortly... I wonder if my load will be ready.. couple weeks ago I was there and it was ready!!! That was a shocker....

 

I'll definitely be telling waynesboro no more favors on these loads.. Next time they try to put this on me it will be a loud NO...I guess then ill find out how much of a lie the " non forced" dispatch system is... Haven't exactly been thrilled with them since Angie left.

 

Yea I came aboard rgt when she left... dont know the diffrence but i take it I got her replacement... lol

 

Hey Guy's, I am about 6 weeks from joining VW, I know this is a question that is wrong to ask, but can you guy's tell what the avg driver can gross a week there? I also don't mind staying out two weeks at a time, I just don't like sitting that's all. Thanks...

 

Oh we don't sit....if it wasn't for child support I could easily take home about a K a week....they are a decent company...sometimes you want to knock some heads like I do tonight...but hey it all washes out in the end...

got to Front Royal tonight...then was given a white wave out of cold storage in harrisonburg....the only problem is that it delivered on the 16th at dark thirty in michigan....well it wouldn't be so much an issue if i had the load this morning but I still had to get to Front Royal to drop what i was draggin...and I was 20 hours early anyway...but with all the orage barrel zones all over I would have been pressing my luck to break in harrisonburg...so I beat feet...I would have made it to where I am parked by the skin of my teeth if I wouldn't have stopped in Toms Brook to see if I could find parking....but alas I did violate my HOS by 9 minutes...my electronic babysitter got all bent out of shape....I would have parked sooner but there is a ton more traffic on 522 as a result of that tanker fire that was on 81....so all the little truckstops outside of winchester are all packed with guys that really don't know how to park...or are parked where ever they pleased...uggg...I can't wait to get back to school somedays...

 

I hear ya Mic. The J here in Carlisle, PA is normally a packed house but it seems even more so last night. This week seems almost too good to be true, came east with a Schwann's load, two drops in MD, then bounced up to Gloucester port for produce going back to Chariton again. If all works as planned, I'll be soaking minnows on Friday before the crack of dawn. I do have an apt at the bank later on Friday, so hopefully they won't have some hot emergency load I gotta do when I get back. I usually don't mind the "do ya think ya could's" they help the check add up! I might see if they got a Kansas load to deliver for Monday, then try to go east from there, seems like I make more that way.

 

Finally got to the last drop of this load, glad to have this nitemare over. I think the next time I deliver in va and get a choice between grabbing a load to warners or heading back out west , I'll go for the warners. Getting some extra home time sure beats the aggravation of these Edinburgh runs!!

I went over to my job today to let them know the doc said I would be ready for work on 7/9, they told me that I was not getting my new truck back, after I seen it I don't want it anyway. We have driver's that are f***** hogs.... I can live on 8 to 900. bring home a week so I am thinking it's time to cut my lost's and join you guys....I just hope I can get a KW or Pete, fingers crossed. Also are health insurance s**** to.. I really want to make VW my final home.. Good luck on going back to school Mic.

 

made it to my drop in Michigan...couldn't park there...so I had to go to the packed truckstop around the corner and actually found a couple spots....got to chill here for about 3 hours then go back to the reciever....so its a day of little sleep...I would have been here sooner but I wasted 3 hours in Bath WV (the town just south of the 70/522 interchange) some tanker yanker decided to park his truck in a house near the sheetz station...so traffic was parked for 2 hours while they fished his truck out of the house and replaced the power poles he took down too....today was just a day of frustration...between the road blockage and the ton of traffic on 76...it was just one of those days.....but hey my Cubs won and took the series today so hey its all good
