Sure do, then again most do, since insurance companies run the show.

I don't remember that test?! Sounds like JB Hunt orientation lol...

Good point Husker on the night shift. Stupid elogs... That's another reason I love being a lazy bum who sleeps in and running the 80th street corridor. Can run noon to midnight, sleep midnight to noon and be cool w/o idle, and on that route you can still find a parking spot at midnight!

I'm doing well. Just starting an O/O gig that was the one I dreamed of. Might need an inframe, but hopefully just a water pump. Will give a proper update later. Take care guys.

No sir. Thank God! Got hooked up with a 15 truck o/o outfit in PA after 4 months of "courting". Doing batteries dedicated out of Delaware (power only, drop n hook). They have some other power only stuff sometimes if I have no work on a particular day. Most guys there own or rent a dry box for spot market stuff too. I'm the only day cab. Looking at the boards (never had access to them before, pretty cool) I'm thinking maybe I should buy a step deck instead?! Have to learn my way around NYC though it seems... Would like to start the dump wagon division here too. Nvm that I have zero experience with either!

Yeah man, I'm looking at doing something else with my truck. The stress with LS is starting to be to much and plus my first child is on the way. There's things to do around here like haul pulpwood but personally i dont think the money is there. I wouldn't mind going in the the dump wagon business but not sure how to get my foot in the door.

Is LS land star? If it is, what's the stress over there?

Hey Husker, just started in September and so far so good. Unfortunately, I am often getting stuck running nights and the 10% this month is killing me. When you said the office gives you some wiggle room, do you mean as far as getting full bonus?

Congratulations Hawk! Even if you aren't a kid person, having one of your own is just amazing.

Did you call KR this week?

If you want to get into step deck Mercer is supposed to be top notch. Although they are very similarly setup to LS so I don't know if you would want that.

Yes the bulk transport segment seems to be a mysterious old boys club or something. End dump is the only equipment type I have searched in the Internet Truck Stop and found 0 loads. I did sign up at bulkloads.com just to see what goes on and there are loads there, no prices posted on most, and someone from there actually called and texted me to try to load me. I also have random brokers trying to solicit me for bulk loads via email now. My friend worked as a company driver at Bones out of Ottawa, KS for almost a year and said them themselves, Page out of NY, Oakley, and maybe another player or two seem to pretty much cover all the freight, more than one booking with the same customer style, and they are really open about brokering loads back and forth to each other. The only smaller name I know of around here that is big enough to be memorable is Leiby. I haven't been able to find much of anything out about them. I know there are a lot of independent players in this segment too. Scary to get into with all the investment in equipment and unknowns but think how cool you get to be! lol
