Breakfast at 0300 at McDonalds in the Hagerstown Pilot! Lol This place is ridiculous; parked full at 1530 on a Sunday!

 

Rob or anyone else that can answer, What's the deal with the [automated?] message you'll occasionally get stating, "If you have a mechanical breakdown after midnite and will be late for delivery, call Mike-snip- Do not call Tyson." ?

 

We had guys with breakdowns and they would call Tyson dispatch in Dakota Dunes which would trigger a chain of phone calls, usually ending # Mike. He takes this on so he is in the loop with all things Tyson to keep them happy & so he can spearhead a resolution to whatever is going on. Basically it's a matter of keeping our largest customer happy. This has kinda come back to bite him in the butt though, now everybody in the fleet has his direct cell number so he gets calls day & night for complete nonsense.

 

Any of you guys ever p/u at Resers in Topeka 3 hrs past my appt. And still not in a door what a mess,anyways been here over a month now and am very happy here good people to work for and no drama on a day to day basis.

 

Ya that's pretty typical for Resers.

 

I've never been so happy to go to Jersey! Yesterday I spent my 14 driving from Hagerstown to DC to Fort Belvior to Front Royal to Hagerstown! Lots of sitting... Rob you were not kidding about US Beef. What a circus!

Then I made a big oops at when I shutdown I Hagerstown. You know those three poles on the side of the scale, by the dumpster? Yep... Couldn't see the third one and did a pull up right into it! Thank God we have these ugly add on bumpers. I did minimal damage to the Peterbilt bumper thanks to it. My first reportable career accident *sigh* I guess I get bumped down on the KW upgrade list now? "Don't give Bechtel a new truck; he'll just smash it up." lol

 

I've seen guys #### near tear off their hood & a couple months later they're rolling in a new set of wheels so you should be fine!

 

trust me i understand bechtel... ##### happens, never been more mad at myself in a truck the night i bent and push my side fairings back on the driver side by doing something stupid!!! trust me i make #### sure that wont happen on this KW!!
