Well just as soon as I got on that load I'm a different load out of Ottawa. Now I have MCB Quantico, Andrews AFB & NSWS Dahlgren. Atleast I have Quantico first, I know I can camp out behind the PX there. Kinda funny how you need a TWIC card to get into a port but I can get on any military installation to make a delivery without a problem.

I have never bad an issue getting onto a base. The largest "hassle" I had was when I went to 29 Palms. The MP had me open up the trailer so the K9 could go through the load, no real biggie. Go onto the port to load some dopey bananas and you would swear you were loading gold bulion. I was at Camden once where I paid the guy the $75 "escort" fee, after that he gave me directions to the produce house & bid me a good day. No body as much as followed me to make sure where I went.

I didn't even know there was a McLane in this neck of the woods, where is it at? I've only had one good experience at any McLane & that was in Lakewood, WA, the rest I try to avoid like the plague! The one out in Longmont, CO is by far the worst of them all, especially the Rambo rent a cop that runs the gate. Give a guy a whistle and a flashlight and you would think he could take on the world.

The McLane is right off of Balls Ford rd. on Century Park Blvd. Speaking of TWIC's I've heard their having a problem with the readers, no I don't have one, but it sounds typical for the Gov't. Hey Rob, your going to NSWS Dahlgren, that's near my old stomping grounds.

Well my load changed again on Friday. Now I have AM Briggs in DC, Boling AFB & Fort Belvoir. Traffic was absolutely rediculous from Breezewood to DC, it took an hour to get from the rest area on 70 in PA to the bottom of Town Hill which is all of 4 miles. PA in all their wisdom closed a lane and neglected to put up a sign warning you until 1/2 mile from the closure, not good for the blood pressure! Happy Easter & safe travels.
