I never messed with one of those. All of the Aviation hauling I did was for Boeing.

A guy I ran with hauled a Engine for Airforce 1 when W. was still Prez, they had a picture of him at the terminal shaking his hand. It was pretty cool.

Another Yellowstone driver delivered the christmastree to times square. I thought that would have been a pretty neat load.

There just like any other freight. Wait in line, drive the equipment onto hit, pull out of the way, secure it, then boogie down the highway.

The best part about it though, you don't seemed to get hassled much when you have military freight.

I only was hassled once by a small town cop. I was speeding thru his town (honestly didn't know the town was there). I had a missle in a container. He pulled me over to start his ####.... And well.... I didn't get a ticket for going 45 over.

As I recall dont they have that funny stamped section for the back of the sleeper?

Could always put one on each side. He would probably hook you up for around what I quoted you because it has to be cut out of 14" wide vinyl, so you can put a couple of banners on there.

On my bright red KW I had a quote on the side of my sleeper that said "My Demons Be Driven..."

i am still considering going back to flat bedding--it is more interesting--tho somedays it is nice just to bable to close the doors and be done with load
i think why i didnt enjoy before was cause it was more regional--tarping unloading at least once a day---and very ugly loads---and very much a rookie

If you own your own truck, a flat bed can be really nice if you own it too. That way you can get everything setup how you want it. That is why I miss my first truck so much, I had that thing totally "pimped out" with everything I needed. and it was just nice to be able to pull in, load something up, and get on down the road and have all the right tools for the job

No man. I didn't even know what was in that container. And like I said, I didn't know I was even in a town... (I was out in the middle of nowhere). All I knew is I picked it up at a base & was delivering to the Pine Bluff Arsenal. Barney pulled me over & kept insisting I tell him what was in the container... All I could tell him was that it was military. He had a real attitude... Was talking about cutting the lock & all that jazz. Finally he said "Give me your bills!" So I did. He went back to his car for a few minutes. Then RAN back up to the truck. Handed my bills. Said "Have a good day driver & get the #### out of my town!"

    So I left.

got to Pine bluff... And they immediately told me I needed an escort. An escort for what? We have DOD clearance. "Uh, driver.... Your going to the bomb mat".... Got back there. They lifted the container off & couldn't find some kind of paperwork & wouldn't allow me to leave till that paperwork was accounted for. They cut the lock, opened the doors, and there it was! The paperwork taped to the inside of the door & a missle pointing right at us!

I'd do flatbed, except I'm too out-of-shape, I'd like to be taller as I believe it really would make it a bit easier, and I'm older than I'd like to be.

    Other'n that, I'd do it.

But seriously, if I had to do it over again, I would have flatbedded when I first started.

    Just my thoughts.
