i liked the dod loads ,as they were always light--guess they only wanted a small explosion if something happened
couple loads went directly onto hercs going to aphganistan--and a few got unloaded at a live fire range--was really hoping everybody had paid attention in aiming class -

It wouldn't of been white sands missle range would it?
GPS systems route people through the bombing range -
we were pretty safe had to wait in a-- i guess a fire control tower--then escorted to pad and everything was unloaded onto wagons

I think it was a different place though, I do remember the plane that shot the truck up was an F-16, the funny part is the driver of the truck got out with out a scratch on him, well other than needing new underwear and a hose! lolouterspacehillbilly Thanks this. -
Speaking of airplanes, I once carried an entire jet fighter on a skateboard. Wings and all. And no, it wasn't a carrier plane with folding wings or whatever...
How, you ask?
It had been sawn lengthwise into strips by parallel bandsaw blades, like a loaf of bread. lol
Titanium gets recycled, apparently.
The fun bit? The cut edges were as jagged and sharp as saw blades themselves. I remember wishing I had a pair of those chain mail gloves that meat cutters use. -
i got shot up by a paint ball gun pulling east out of golden bc---that was bad enough cant imagine seeing parts of truck and trailer flying thru the air
