I smoke a pack a day. All it does is make me spend about 300 bucks a month of hard earned money on something that provides absolutely no buzz and no positive effect other than it causes me to think about how much 300 bucks a month is after 20 years st a 10% return in mutual funds.

I've vaped 10% for 4 years. That's irrelevant. This op has all the answers already. He/she is just looking for validation. If I'm tired I stop. It's not an age thing, it's an I want to get older thing. Skytz33 you need to change your avatar cuz you would melt in the Spartan winter. Don't like the answer?? Triggered:biggrin_2553:

What will not prevent drowsy driving:
    • Rolling down the window.
    • Drinking/eating caffeine or sugar.
    • Turning on or turning up the radio.
    • Turning on the air conditioning.
    • Talking to passengers or talking over the phone.
    • Exercising, eating, or relaxing without napping/sleeping.
    What will prevent drowsy driving:
    • Getting enough sleep before driving, and not driving until you are rested.
    • Driving with a passenger, and switching drivers when you start to feel drowsy.
    • Pulling over safely and taking a 10-20 minute nap.
    • Calling a ride service or a friend to pick you up and take you to your destination.

    Don't even.

It's not so much the vaping, (I smoked 4 packs of Marlboro 100's either reds or gold as avaible at either Kings Mountain or the Indian lands near the Mesa area which is not exactly my country. I had trouble with that land there. I should remember it well the name, but it escapes me at the moment. Kings Mountain in SC/NC area off the 105 sold bulk cartons so you can run around into NYC without having to pay 8.00 packs or 10.00 packs in texas etc. I quit after 9-11 when I crossed the Eisenhower tunnel via storm king-steamboat eastbound high enough to experience almost a system wide collapse of my pulse oxometer percentage combined with mountain sickness. I was able to get off Vail and into Denver without having it reach my heart inside my body. So I am thank ful for that. But that was to be my last run into the rockies and also my last smoking. I quit cold turkey and was fine in 6 months and continued to improve each year since then healthwise, for which I am grateful.

Vaping involved heating fluids with nicotine in them. Lithium is the power of choice. If for whatever reason that vaper becomes thermally unstable you are going to suffer second to third degree burns locally and if it explodes for example to your unshielded eyes at 70 mph or whatever you are doing with that 18 wheeler you may commit yourself to a life time of pernamently disbaility via vision difficulties and or probably certain bones in your body should that vape burn through your pockets. There are certain spots in your hip joints for example, when breached by fire intense enough can kill you.

Which is why when elderly people take a fall in a certain way on certain joints they are good as dead except for the process of nursing home combined wtih hospice care and advanced care on top of that.

Arkansas loses roughly 20 vapers a year. Most of them go to the Childrens Hospital off I-630 which is the state's premier burn center. Hundreds of ICU monitored burn beds. 90% of them associated with meth lab explosions and other illegal activity. Vaping is so minor. But... given the right combination of situations you can be burned pretty badly and depending on your availble immune systems within your bones, blood, chemistry via glands around your body and other things as well as certain treatments given you your chances of survival is even stevens. You can either walk out, be carted out or shipped out dead. But one way or another it will be taken care of at that particular hosptial. If you are burned seriously enough you will be provided at UAMS which is called Hypobaric for a while. It is 100% oxygen plus some special temperature designed to prevent your body from literally freezing to death at room temperature. Your Skin has much to do with your body's ability to maintain temperature. Take enough skin away fast enough you literally cannot hold 98.6 and freeze to death as your organs shut down.

You also will face gallons upon gallons of warmed up fluids. You are also going to be attached to a machine through your urinary tract by which all those fluids WILL be removed from your body to keep you alive. You will not like the experience as twice a hour a nurse pulls a 20 gallon bag of fluids and dumps it into the toilet in your room.

But don't stress. You will need to be strong when they do hand you the billing for everything once you heal. Hopefully you have a decent home and some lands to sell off to pay this bill. And stop that smoking if they have not done so already during your stay there.

The black folk got that one in the drug lottery. White folk drafted meth in the second round.

Sounds more like a basic sleeping problem, but people think vaping will solve the problem or soda will help.

I never needed a nap when I first started driving. Then I would drink more soda. Because I was just a little tired. Then I was taking naps and drinking soda and candy. Then I was taking 3 hour naps and drinking soda and candy and still felt tired. I could sleep on demand when needed for loading or unloading, I was doing a good.

Then I went for a sleep test, just because it was the latest safety thing in trucking to keep your medical card and I was told 3 different time I should think about getting check before my next D.O.T physical.

So I did and now I can stay awake all day no naps needed. Just something to think about you might have Sleep Apnea and not even know it. I was told sleeping on demand was good thing as a truck driver. Because we would always be rested and ready to work.

I can't sleep on demand anymore because I'm not tired. That a good thing.
