While at any other company you never own the truck. You make payments on it for 3 years and 150k worth of payments and then to own it they tell you to fork over another 50k. And yet they still call it a lease purchase which it isn't. It's just a lease.

At the end of my lease, I would have paid the same price as dealership would have charged an individual for the truck.

A truck is not worn out after 500k if you take of it. It's also not out of warranty because JCT gets their trucks with 700k warranties.

Every driver at JCT will agree that the pay is on the low side. But the driver only pays for the truck payment, fuel, insurances, Qualcomm rental, and can opt in for Drivers Legal, ATBS, and Health Insurance. The maintenance escrow is initially set up at $0.05 a mile with a cap of $5k, but the driver can set that however they want. My is set at $0.10 a mile with no cap. All the rest is covered 100% by JCT.

JCT does have a good program. Like @crxdc said, it's not for everyone. But don't judge or hate us that do just fine over here. There is reason why people fail here and it's usually because they can't control their expenses and that can be said for any L/P or O/O.

Should make more than that being an owner/op imo. I currently make 14-1500 a week after tax as a company driver.

But you will never have anything more then a paycheck. I will have a title for a truck at the end. Sure I make about .45 a mile take home but in the end I have something I want.

That's what's great about trucking. Different strokes for different folks. As long as you are successful, then who is to say you are wrong. But unfortunately there will always be those that see it as only their way is the way to be successful. Just got let all that go in one ear and out the other. But also don't be closed minded either because sometimes there is a diamond among all the crap they spill.

Best of luck to you @03machwon.

DSi/sammons also has a variable lease. Driver gets 26% of the weekly revenue, everything else good towards the expenses. I only there is a bit more to it, the always is.

My buddy Jesse is over at steelman on his lease. Been at it now for 8 months. Only had 2 negative weeks because he went home for an extended period during the holidays. Says his average after taxes is between 800 to add high as 1200 a week. His wife had insurance through her job so him having a second revenue stream helps

Not judging or hating just don't make no sense to me but to each their own least jct is one of the better l/p programs which isn't saying much about the other ones out there.
