That's definitely helpful, and is possible with the customer version of PTT. I'm not sure if the Jpro is able to run tests, or just read codes and access service info. I've never personally used Jpro, but a lot of the independent shops use it and speak highly of it.

My best advice to be able to update software and do tests and keep it cheap, is to befriend a good dealer mechanic and buy them lots of beer!
