I prepay a phone, I think it's about a 11.50 something per month for one line, a few minutes and piles of texting which is what I see as a gold mine for what I do with it.
ATT wanted 50 some dollars a month to provide service to any of their cells or my cell. I don't think so. -
Ya I had Sprint/Nextel for like 13 years, then switched to Verizon. I rarely if ever got a 4g signal from Sprint and I would constantly drop calls inside of my house it just became to ridiculous. I'm single so just pay for me. In 3 years with Verizon I haven't had a single complaint yet, use paperless billing and have it automatically taken out of my account monthly. 100% hassle free experience so far.
The only thing I miss about Sprint/Nextel was the Nextel portion which was gone how many years ago? I liked being able to "chirp" someone and use the quick Walkie-Talkie.DrFlush and slim shady Thank this. -
When I had verizon I had to stand in a certain spot at my place to get a connection, 2 phones later they tell me I needed a trimode. all of em quit working within a couple month's, I was charged 700.00 .. on the last phone, another I dont think so

Loyal to Verizon for years . No one else has provided the all around service that Verizon has, get what you pay for.

been with sprint about 8 mo. or so have not noticed any difference since leaving Verizon.
Wait 1 thing my bill is a lot lower -
Glad for you. My experience with others has been very negative, such as no coverage in many places.

Keep in mind Verizon will be dropping 5g on us this year, that should bring the strays home.
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
In the past I've had just about all of them... Cingular, AT&T, Netel, and now Verizon. All about the same in my never be humble opinion.
Almost switched to T-Mobile awhile back but we have my mom on our plan and T-Mobile just didn't have good coverage in her area.
Other than higher price, I don't have any issues with Verizon. If I needed more data, I would switch but what we use is almost the same price as the T-Mobile (unlimited) package when I priced them recently.
So we will be on Verizon for a bit longer ... either until T-Mobile covers a small town beck in Illinois or mom moves to another city.
But I LOVE what T-Mobile is doing for competition in the cell phone areana. Everyone is benefiting from the increase competition, even those who don't switch carriers. -
They're opening up test markets. It won't start popping up till next year and will probably be a couple more years to hit most of the country.
Not that i see a need for 5G right away anyways.
I get 50 mbps on sprint at home. I'm good with that.
It's nice to have service again in areas where i spend most of my time. Verizon dropped the ball big time.
