I left Verizon a long time ago. Paid way to much for far to many dropped calls and nothing but excuses from them. I switched to straight talk, I still drop call, not as many. BUT, I AM PAYING LESS THAN 1/3 WHAT I WAS PAYING VERIZON. NEVER AGAIN!

I've been with Verizon since before they were Verizon back in 1997. They always call and threaten cancellation if you're 1-2 days beyond the due date. But you can really go 3 months before they actually make good on their threat lol.

You have a computer. You know your due date. You can pay online. What's the problem?
I'm sure customer service sees all kinds. Some will fight over a cell phone.
Verizon is suppose to be forgiving. No problem Joe, pay us when you can? They can't keep up with millions of customers that way.
Now that you had a bad experience, maybe you will pay on time. Don't lose your phone bill money at the casino! -

Maybe they could just charge interest and let the next bill notify me. 20 years and I'm 13 days late on one bill ...............no they wake me up and threaten me, and it was not a robo call.
By the way AT&T still owes me $4.96 from me canceling my land line 5 years ago. They mail me a statement every month but won't cut a check.
This was more about the corporate to big to fail attitude . What's the chance of you starting a cell phone company ........... 0% . But you can go buy a 10k truck and I have to compete with you. Kinda keeps everyone on their toes.
And keep your advice about paying on time. You don't know me or my credit rating.

Hummm, Verizon sends me a text about 15 days before my bill is due. They send an e-mail about the same time. I've NEVER had any issues with them.
But...

Not blaming them for my lack of responsibility . But for their lack of knowing how to deal with a 20 year customer.
